SlotKaki app permissions: what is reasonable and what to refuse
The SlotKaki Android app needs internet access to work, and it may ask for notifications or the camera as optional extras. It does not need SMS, contacts, call logs, accessibility services or device administrator rights. If the app on your phone asks for any of those, refuse, and download it again only from the app button on slotkaki.shop.

Permissions a gaming app can reasonably ask for
An app permission is an Android control that decides which parts of your phone an app may read or use. Some are granted automatically at install time, internet access for instance. Others appear as a pop-up the first time the app needs them.
| Permission | Reasonable use | Suggestion |
|---|---|---|
| Internet | Loading your account and games from the server | Granted automatically, no prompt |
| Notifications | Reminders and account messages | Optional, fine to refuse |
| Camera | Scanning a QR code or photographing a verification document | Allow "only while using the app", and only when needed |
| Photos and files | Uploading verification documents | Pick specific files rather than full access, if the phone offers it |
A simple test: if you refuse an optional permission, the app should still let you log in and play. You can grant it later when it is genuinely needed, for example while uploading documents for Know Your Customer (KYC) checks.
Red-flag permissions: SMS, contacts and accessibility
The permissions below give access to data or controls that have nothing to do with playing. They are the ones fake apps copying the SlotKaki name and logo tend to ask for.
| Permission | What it allows | Why it is dangerous |
|---|---|---|
| SMS | Reading incoming messages | Bank TAC or OTP codes can be stolen |
| Contacts and call logs | Seeing who you talk to | Used to scam your family and friends |
| Accessibility services | Reading the screen and tapping buttons for you | Can operate your banking app |
| Device administrator | Locking the screen and blocking uninstall | Makes the app hard to remove |
| Display over other apps | Drawing windows on top of other apps | Can fake a bank login screen |
| Notification access | Reading every notification | OTP codes in notifications can be read |
| Install unknown apps (for the app itself) | Installing other apps | Other software can be added without you noticing |
The official app does not need SMS, contacts, call logs, accessibility or device administrator rights. For the last three rows of the table, we know of no sensible reason for a gaming app to ask, so refuse first and think later.
Checking permissions in Android Settings
Menu names vary by brand and Android version, but the route is usually similar.
- Open Settings > Apps, find SlotKaki and tap Permissions. You will see "Allowed" and "Not allowed" lists.
- Tap each allowed permission and switch it to "Don't allow" if you have no use for it.
- For an overview across all apps, look for Permission manager, usually under Privacy.
- Special permissions do not show in the normal list. Check Settings > Apps > Special app access for "Display over other apps", "Notification access", "Install unknown apps" and "Device admin apps".
- Open Settings > Accessibility and look under "Downloaded apps" or "Installed services". A gaming app should not be listed there.
Newer Android versions can also remove permissions automatically from apps you have not opened for a while. That does not affect your account; the app will simply ask again when it needs the permission.
When the app asks for more than it should
What you do next depends on whether you have already tapped Allow.
Not yet allowed
Tap Deny or Don't allow. If the app then claims it cannot work without that permission, that is a strong sign it is not the official version. Uninstall it, delete the APK, and download again from the app button on slotkaki.shop.
Already allowed
If the app has already been given SMS, accessibility or device administrator access, switching the permission off is not enough. Follow the recovery steps in the guide to spotting a fake APK: cut the connection, remove the app, call your bank, and if money has already left your account, ring the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) on 997 as quickly as you can.
Fake apps rarely travel alone. They are usually pushed through websites that imitate the real address. How to recognise a copycat address is explained in how to spot a fake SlotKaki site.
Frequently asked questions
Why would a gaming app ask for SMS access?
The genuine SlotKaki app does not ask for SMS access. Fake apps request it to read the bank TAC or OTP codes sent to you. If you see this request, refuse it, uninstall the app, and reinstall only from the app button on slotkaki.shop.
Can I refuse the notifications permission?
Yes. Notifications are optional and the app still works without them, although you may miss reminders or account messages. If you change your mind, switch them back on under Settings, then Apps, choose SlotKaki and open the Notifications section.
What is the danger of accessibility services in an app?
Accessibility services let an app read whatever is on your screen and tap buttons on your behalf. Scammers use them to operate banking apps and approve transfers. The official app does not need them, so any app that asks should be removed straight away.
Start from the right source Most permission problems trace back to a file that came from somewhere else. Download only through the app button on slotkaki.shop, then review the permission list once after installing.
